You may also be interested in a partial scholarships to help you be able to attend the Buckeye Leadership Workshop. These partial scholarships are available through the R. Bruce Tom Memorial Fund. We are pleased to be able to offer a limited number of partial scholarships. You should contact your sponsoring organization as your primary source for funding. Please assist us in our efforts by returning a neatly written or typed application with the two letters mentioned below prior to January 14, 2011. (Applications received after this date will not be considered).
Only partial scholarships are awarded. Scholarships are based heavily on financial need and the ability of the participant to use these new skills. Scholarship recipients will be asked to assist with some BLW activities in exchange for funding. We strongly encourage you to seek funding from your sponsoring organization.
Two letters of recommendation are required to accompany this application. Please choose two individuals other than relatives who know your leadership abilities and financial need. Be certain their name, full address, phone number and association with you are included in each letter. Letters must be postmarked not later than January 14, 2011 for consideration.
IMPORTANT!!! ONLY COMPLETE FORMS, ACCOMPANIED BY 2 LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION WILL BE CONSIDERED. YOUR COMPLETED REGISTRATION (FROM THE BROCHURE) AND $100.00 DEPOSIT MUST BE ON FILE WITH THE REGISTRAR OR ACCOMPANY THIS APPLICATION.
